I am putting a T5 in a 49 F1 pickup. Just looking at how this goes together and I see in the kit that a roll pin is used to hold the clutch hub on the clutch shaft. Seems a bit flimsy to me. Plus if that would ever need to be changed for whatever reason..... there a real pain to get out. Would a hard snug fitting bolt be better? thoughts

I used a socket head cap screw and red loc***e in my 40 Ford years ago and it still is working fine. I can't recall what size bolt . but I think it was at least 1/4 inch dia. I threaded both pieces.

See if the hole diameter(s) are consistent. Socket shoulder bolts have a ground shoulder diameter that would be ideal. The shoulder comes in various lengths. Secure it with a nut & Loc***e or use a nyloc nut.
