  7. No deal!! :D

Haha,,,,I'm thinking of airbrushing a pork-chop pizza on the decklid to attract Orcabettys...beats sectioning it.

Thanks 00...it does right now, but that's just because I'm not done shaving the beltline. Rik did a couple of photoshops for me, some with the original beltline, some with the fleetline style like in the picture I posted earlier. Ultimately, I decided on no beltline at all. In one of the Barris books, George talks about the Landon Chevy and the shaved beltline...said, "It was a tremendous amount of work, but to great result." I agree...especially about the WORK part...haha.

Here you can clearly see where I cut out the beltline for the new sail panel....

That compound curve below might have been the hardest part to make out of everything on this chop. I still don't have a shrinker/stretcher, so I had to make it by hand. Anyone know if Baileigh does a PITY prize for tech week?...cough, cough.......

That's the plan....still has to go to Kidwell's, though. Bringing your Plymouth?

Thanks....one of mine too. Some influence from that car for sure...

Probably more from the Litton Ford than any other....I LOVE that chop.

    Thanks again.

Bryan, I can't add anymore to what's already been said. How can one not agree? Man I love those Rickster pics too. I've got to get some of that west coast look down this way. I'm hoping my vert will get some kustom treatment this winter. That's the plan. I sure would love to!

  25. Bad ***... best chop I've seen on here in a long while. Poportions are all right, love the bubble retained in the roof, spot on. Brilliant.

Hey Bryan, she's a beaut man! OF course you west coast guys have a touch that us east coasters can only admire. It would be unlawful if we copied it. I would like to correct one glaring mistake that just about all the posters here have made . It's not a custom. It's a Kustom.:D

  28. It's pretty rad to get positive feedback from so many great builders who's work and style I look up to.....thanks guys.

Some people were asking about updates...not as much as progress as I'd like, but here are a few things worth noting...

I cut out the floorboards to weld in additional bracing to make up for the lack of B pillars...

Dash painted pearl white...still need to cut and buff...

    And the windshield...
