Dustin is working his *** off getting the Merc ready and it is turning out
very kool. Pictures don't do the Merc justice. You can just sit in a chair
and look at the profile for hours.

Will the ones from a 4 door work?

 

Ouch,Brant,2 or 4 doesnt matter.I think they are 5/16 ,24 thread,machine head screws

 

Check with Mercury Land or Mr. Merc.

I used the 5/15-24 UNF X1 countersunk bolts with the black oxide finish like the ones shown here on Fastenal website. They work great. Don't use stainless as they are not as strong. Do use antiseize compound. Any large bolt supplier should have them. Here they are:

Don't forget the countersunk lock washers.

You guys not have a Ace hardware/True value out in OK? I'm in there nut and bolt isle daily.

 

That'll work,we have a Fastenal here in town.I checked all the other stores,but they didn't have machine head,just bolts.Thanks 19Fordy!!!!
