I talked to a couple of the Omaha guys last night and, if it's possible, we'd like to try to catch you on your way through Omaha and drive with you to Lincoln. It'd be great if you could give one of us a call when you leave Des Moines, or somewhere in between. If that's at all possible, let me know, and I'll PM you my phone #. Thank you!

Also, if you are planning on touring the Museum, do you already have it set up? If not, I can get you some contact info to set up a tour.

About what time are you planning to leave Erie, PA. I drive semi truck around cleveland and mansfield, would love to keep my eye open for you all, and grab a few pic's as you pass me. LOL I leave my warehouse at 1pm and go south sometimes or anywhere in northeast ohio. I drive a daycab with a big white refer trailer and a black horse on the side of it.

When you guys stop at Indy be sure to keep an eye on your hot rods. That is'nt the best part of Indy where that motel six is located. I'll get some friends together and swing by for the party. Watch that 'ol guy in the '32 roadster...he is kinda strange!!!:p:D:D

two days down. Anybody know how they are doing?

  16. Been getting updates from my Dad.
7 Rods plus the 2 racecars in boxes. They had rain on and off all the way to their first stop in PA, no problems though.
Someone (a HAMBer?) set up a BBQ for them at a park near the hotel last night and a few PA HAMBers came out to greet them. Dad said it was great. They picked up another Rod in PA and were headed for Indy at 8am. I'll try to keep the updates coming.

  20. I'm working on it. From what I gather they have not had any internet so-far, the trad hotels don't have wi-fi;).
Their eta for Indy is 5pm.

I stopped by their hotel last night to check out the cars. I forgot my good camera, so I snapped a couple pics with my phone. Sorry, there was a terrible glare, but I guess they're better than nothing. The blue "92 B" roadster was beautiful. I hadn't seen that one before.

By the way, andysdeuce, you were right about that part of town. When we arrived, there were two police cars, a paddy wagon, and a tow truck hauling a guy and his car away!

Again, sorry for the crappy pics.
