Rolling Bones chicken wings/pizza tour '08

The Rolling Bones Hot Rod Shop, is leaving for Bonneville on Sunday August 10th. We'll be traveling about 400 miles a day for six days. There will be 7 or 8 hot rods and two trailers with the race car.
Ken Schmidt will post, in advance, where we'll be staying as we cross the county. So, if we're stopping near you, come by for a beer and some great bench racing.

I'm already planning on what overpass to jump off of to hitch a ride on the trailer.

Thanks John. Yeah, Woody is going with us. I got him the job of driving the van pulling one of the race cars. He's in for the trip of his life. It'll give him the incentive to get his coupe fixed. It may also make him want to install a T-5.

 

Thanks for the offer, but we don't go near Chicago, after the 6+ hours in stop and go traffic we hit in '05. 100 degrees and no air flow, make a hot rodded flathead eat sparkplugs and drivers.

 

We're working out the details on what route we're taking and what towns we'll be over-nighting at. I will post a seperate thread with all of the details on Monday July 28th.
Sure hope we're in a town near you.

Cars look great Dave. Wish you guys were going with us. I think Bill's car would be a nice addition to the convoy. Your woody would certainly add a bit of class to trip too.
