Like any other state, Scrubba, Utah has its gorgeous parts, and not so gorgeous parts. Southeast Utah is rocky and filled with canyons and cliffs...in Moab, Arches Park is gorgeous as is "Slickrock" bicycle trails on top of 800-100 foot cliffs...and its a four-wheel drive playland.

Having stated that, let's just call these "rolling shots" The Utah Travel Revue...!!!

Here's my bro's Caddy in front of an arch not 100 yards off the hiway:

Here's my son's '59 Caddy rolling down from Dead Horse Point (where you can look down on the ColoRODo River 1000-1400 feet below), shot two years ago:

And here he is this April in a "new" 61 Chevy he picked up rolling into the eastern start of the river canyon. That's my bro's Cadillac ahead of him and beyond him is the snow-covered LaSalle mountains, this at the end of April:

Here's my Caddy, with good friend Phil behind me in his '50 Buick, rolling the river canyon, on the way to Fisher Towers, a rock formation, and a stop at the winery:

While not exactly a "rolling shot", here's my Caddy, stopped along the highway on the way to Dead Horse Point...the whole group (about 90 cars) pulled off to allow other traffic to go by. Dead Horse point is about 40 miles north of Moab.

And here I am rolling down off Dead Horse Point heading for home:

Of course, I can't put up pix of Utah without sharing pix of Colorful ColoRODo. Here's a pic of me and my Caddy rolling into the western portion (heading east) of beautiful Glenwood Canyon:

And me and my son in his '61 rolling into the miles long tunnel in Glenwood Canyon:

As I said before, states have good and bad...eastern ColoRODo is flat and dry...mid ColoRODo is mountains, western ColoRODo is canyons similar to Utah...

You should plan a trip out here...the Moab April Action rod run is the last full weekend in April...and they usually attract 600-700 cars from all over the west.

FWIW, my bro is the camera bug...he shoots almost anything that moves...thanx to him for all the "rolling shots" I put up...i'm not camera savvy...!!!

    R-

I've got to agree with western Colorado, eastern Utah as spectacularly scenic. This is from my roadtrip to Indy last September.

Same roadtrip. Approaching Lake Tahoe from the south and west.
