I installed a new "Tanks" tank and put their rollover vent in the drivers wheel well. So now it's time for new and bigger tires and I'm afraid the sidewalls will will rub on the vent. I'm out of room in the wheelwells because if I move it farther back it will be below tank level. I read somewhere here if there is a loop higher than the tank, that is is OK to mount it below tank level, but I believe that is asking for trouble.

I would agree with that, a slosh to the side could cause a fuel spill. Can you route it into dead space, out side of the actual wheel house? Being careful to not vent it somewhere that the fumes will creep into the passenger compartment?
