WOW!!! Jeff I had no idea what all took place to get your truck to the stage it's at now. It's looking super cool. Thanks for bringing us up to date. I especially like the overhead gauge placement. Did you built it or adapt a comercially available unit? killer!! Oh yea, the rear nerf bar is over the top. It's staying, I ***ume?
Now, about that 5W. Are you going to be giving me some compe***ion on projects? I've had one for over 35 years and what do I do but buy the one Hatch had to add to the pile. I heard that some Canadian was working on a drug to stop this kind of madness, is that true? If so, keep the pills north of the border I'm too old to change now. ;) :D

    The 41 Dash.....

Flat Top Bob came to the rescue and I purchased a 41 dash.
I wanted to use it for what it was and build the upper gauge panel because of the severe cut. AND NO....those are not airconditioning ports....there air vents.Inside each corner of the front window are corner slits....2 at the top that vent fresh air at head level and 2 that feed to the floor for my tootsies...

The 41 dash required a heavy chopp and section to fit.
the upper gauge panel is all steel.. rolle, twisted and formed into the upper portion of the cab.

    here are some shots....

NegMatt... the pedal ***embly is a Wilwood tri-set up.
    Yes..purchased thru Speedy Bill.

I had no room on the frame for a master(and I don't care for it)
and I dislike any thing hanging on the outside wall.
I chose a 7/8 bore for each ***embly.1 for the front brakes... 1 for the rears and 1 for the Tilton hydralic slave.
Again on mock up.....seating and pedal position was critical.

The rear was terrible too....new metal and embossed sections were formed.
The lower 8 inches of the rear cab was thick with bondo.....

To be perfecty honest....ya can't fault the prevouis owners....they worked what with they had back in the 50's, 60's and 70's

    Thanks Fiddy.

I am not yet fully decided on the the whole rad set up.....I may (treading lightly here) go with a rad in the bed and have the duece shell have a plexi insert....all pinstriped and such.
I have to talk to Littleman
    Dave ...call me....

but.as the plan stands now....I scored some killer lumber for the bed strips.
this is raw Tiger maple. It was intended for Fender guitars...but I absconded it.. ha ha

any how..a great friend of mine is a master cabinet maker and gave me a secret formula to get th incredible grain out of these.....
the wood is already chamfered and I picked of some chevy stainless bed strips.
extra long so I can cut to fit.

And more decisions.....I found these aircraft lights I may use instad of the ones now.....they resemble a 39.. but bubble out.
And the housings are aluminum.....they could polish out nicely.

Speaking of venting.....the rear window slides down manually by way of a drop bar.
    Thiis thing needs to breath.
