I just canceled our room for sat at the quality inn in eldridge 563-285-4600. they wont let me cancel friday night without 24 hr notice. i will call the mgr in the morn to try to cancel. we headed out tonight an blew a rear tire. so not going to make it.
That's too bad. Was there any damage, besides the tire? The motels are full, so there should be someone who can use the room.
no other damage!! Thank goodness. I would like to know if someone snagged this room? would give me a bit of leverage when I call back for the 3rd time to speak to the mgr, if I knew this information I am having a horrible time trying to cancel fri night. just got off the phone with them again. now they are down to only charging me 1/2 for tonight!!!! the mgr is still not in. but I am not anticipating much help there anyway. when I called last night I was only 7 hrs away from my 24 hr requirement (which no one even informed me of when I booked)! what has the world come to when no one can understand that these things happen. not like I just decided not to go!!
