  2. Got a picture of rattlecan "rebuild" 50K mile '77, non-smog (1 ton chassis) 351[​IMG]

    A water pump, fuel pump and a can of paint is all it needs. No leaks in 34 years.

    Hey Rooster, how the heck did you get MartyB to actually work on that truck? Pictures of him doing body work! He never helps his buddies up here. He only TELLS us how to do stuff. Share the secret.

    Well greg you see he pays me to work on my truck..i think he might be a lil board..hhahahaa...but no really has been a real big help..the ole truck has came a long way in 6 weeks...can't wait to drive it..

    I bought them from summit...i think they were $79 each...i had to wait for them to come in..took 2 weeks,but was worth the wait:D...gonna look bad ass..:cool:

    I had a blast yesterday don....dewies and hot rods..hahahaha...we got a lot done on the ole truck...i'll post some pics later today...

    Today im working on cutting down a steering column from a 77 e350 to swap out the standard column,then i will have auto shift on the column...[​IMG]

    i cut 2 3/8 out of the 77 column then tiged it back together....[​IMG]

    Well it was another great day at the shop...we made another great leep forward..thanks to glen,ralph,don,harry...All of the new leaf springs are in,front disc brakes,glen and ralph bolted the new gas tank in,and i started to plumb the ft brakes...i'll take pics tomorrow and post them..its sitting on its rear wheels,can't wait to put the fronts on...

    keep up the awesome work fellas and keep us posted on the engine swap details i'm REALLY intrested because i'm about to do the same swap in my 62 and i';m new to building so lets see some pictures.... cant wait to see your build finished!
