    Hey we have a date! Texas in Nov. You, Me and some hemi powered somethiing those dudes in texes says is fast. I say bring it. So whats up? The trans out of hdk and powerglide will be back in a week and the rebuild carb is ready and ing. is on order. get off the easy chair and get to work man. see you in texas....

    I cleaned out the shop today from the thrash a thon.
    I finally think after multiple tries and several hours we got the tires to seat!!! STP rocks!!! I'll be there with pants on.

    I am gonna start this week and see if I can figure out the shifter linkage problem.

    Dude, you had to go and show up my pit crew with uniforms. Where did you find those anyway?

    the pants were bendavis and the shirt were from a workmen uniform store in the AZ and the logo on back was an iron on last minute thing. I had t-shirts done but I had forgot to pick them up so I use the computer print out iron ons on the back. every things comeing together. I'm not running bakersfield 1 sams no running? 2 I'm not jioning any association 3 if I'm luck I'll get 1 or 2 passes. But I'm going to bring it to the show with an old set of piecut slicks on it. so if anyones going come see me there. Feo2 I think everything in line. Are you going to make it to texas?

    I liked the uniforms but white is pretty hard to keep clean, especially if you have to work on your car like we do. [​IMG]

    root: well i finely got around to doing some wash. and a lillte bleech went a long way. they are bright white and will be pressed and ready for texas.
    my friends are booking flights to meet me out in texas and hopeful more of the vultures will be there . WAY looking forward to the day of the drags. so root if you need anything let me know maybe a std 327 large journal crank? any ways i have been very busy, I'm looking for a new shop and after takeing 27 days off my customers are anxious? for me to get back to there cars. deadlines, if there wasn't a deadline i would never get anything finished. anyways haven't had alot of time to spend on the hamb and I miss it. so just want to say howdy to everyone.

  18. BTW, around these parts, you HAD to wear whites "back in the day" I have lots of pics of my dads old drag and circle track crews..............all white pants! Flesh and Vultures.......BEST DRESSED!!!!
