You are one of the guys that I am pretty sure I will meet one of these days. Wishing you the best of recovery, and hope things end up well.
Hope you get better soon. As I've gotten older, every time I get on a ladder it hits me that what the hell am I thinking.
Youch, man that hurts just thinking about it! Take good care of yourself and hoping you get well soon!
Very sorry to hear of this unfortunate incident and am hoping for a speedy recovery Chris. It really makes one consider the every day dangers of working in the garage. Be safe out there guys!
Sorry to read this. Thanks for posting. Good luck with your recovery. Gonna have to check my FG ladder. Think it's rated 225, and I'm pretty close to that. Hope you bounce back quickly.
OUCH OUCH OUCH That's not how to jump start an engine We all work in hazard conditions, as witnessed in other threads. No way I can help you heal, but when the period of resting up is done, seek help with rehabilitation. . Do not lose more than you have. Proper and adequate exercise is key
Prayers for a speedy and complete recovery. Think maybe I'll get rid of that old wooden step ladder instead of re-wrapping the cracked leg with a new layer of duct tape.
What horrible news. Wishing you the best Root. Don’t be too hard on your caretakers. I hope your pain subsides and you’re up doing physical therapy soon. A good prayer way!
Having personal experience with a "ladder incident", my thoughts are with you. Patience is the key to a full recovery.
Bad news to hear, hope that recovery doesn't need further medical procedures. I'm rooting for a complete recovery! With thoughts and prayers to help the process.
This place is bad ass and so are all of you... I know in the next couple of days Chris will see this and it will bring a smile to his face. The power of the H.A.M.B. once again.
Damn, that sucks, praying for a complete recovery and as has been said already do everyting the Dr tells you to do and work hard on the PT after you heal!
Prayers for a complete and speedy recovery from here. Sounds like a painful fall. One of my fears is that I trip over something in the shop and land on one of the many hard things out there. A serious fall would probably have me on the floor for quite a while 'cause my wife doesn't check on me that often. I wondered how long it would be until there was a post like this one. In this group you know it was gonna happen.
