I did a little digging for you... Crower, as well as other cam manufacturers were up to some tricky mind games in the 60's... in fact, they sold cams that were advertised as "sold with no markings"... often called "Cheaters". Guys with stock and super stock drag cars could buy these cams... that looked like a stock cam... but had that extra edge... Anyway, I found an ad that listed the profiles of six cams... on two of them there was a little note that said "refer to grind #812" and "refer to grind 337"... one profile just said "refer to grind". Now... here's where it gets interesting... three of them said "Refer to Killer". One happened to be, although I don't think it is your cam, for a "Unblown fuel competition rail-coupe-roadster"... Further investigation shows that the "90" on your cam probably refers to the "overlap"... or time when both valves are open... I'm still guessing it's somewhere in the 290 duration... maybe 300 degrees... and about .515 lift... have you had a chance to put a degree wheel on it and a dial indicator? Sam.
This is the reply I got from Crower today. REED OLIVER SAYS WE MADE THIS 40 YEARS AGO BUT DOES NOT HAVE ANY INFO ON THIS SORRY KERRY
