    Hi Everyone,

Got a head scratcher here. I am working on a '63 Olds 98. Trans is a Roto 10.

I got it originally with a no-reverse complaint. Did an O/H kit, and welded shut the crack in the taurus. Trans worked for a month, then the bushing in the taurus wore out, which caused a low pressure situation, and burned the forward clutch. Had no forward gear then.

Changed the taurus and the taurus cover, got an over haul kit, and replaced all of the goodies again. Now I have reverse and 1st, no upshifts!

    GAH!

Dropped the rear valve body, air checked the smaller square passaged and they check out. The larger one off to the side for the clutch that goes on in 2nd SEEMS to engage, but is hard to check since my round air gun nozzle doesn't want to fit inside a square case port.

Can someone whom knows these things point me in the right direction? This thing is such a PITA

    Adam
