I have a Chevy Roto-Faze distributor and considering converting it to modern electronic using a Pertronix kit. Has anyone done this to their dual point, or should I just leave it original? The distributor is like new, and I have had it storage (closet) for many years.

Not sure I would change it over to electronic. If I was going to run it I would keep an eye out for spare parts for it.

That is a very good distributor as it is. I raced with one for years and never had a problem with it. Uses Mallory points if you ever had to have them. I would not convert it.

Joe Panak built the Roto-Faze like a Swiss watch. If you want an electronic distributor buy one don't modify the Roto-Faze.

Agreed. Prolly cost more to mod it than buying a drop in R2R.

Thanks for all the input. I will be keeping the distributor in its original condition.
