Need help, got a 39 Flathead that starts skipping when it at operating temperature, not HOT. When it hits 160 it starts to miss. I have rebuilt the Dist, new everything, New wires, new plugs, changed coils and Condensor. When it starts you can hold the plug wire near the plug or block and get an intermittent spart, usually moves around, not always the same cylinder or I think I could figure this thing out. My next step is to check compression cold then hot, I suspect the valves arn't seating when they expand at operating temp, anyone ever heard of this?
