I plan on putting a round tank in my ride. The problem in the fuel gauge will not be linear. It will not read correctly at the top or bottom quarter. Does anyone have a solution? Are there fuel sending units made for round tanks? Thanks

Every car I ever owned seemed to take forever for the needle to get to 1/2 tank and then it dropped like a stone!
A round tank will drop a bit, then settle down for a good while before starting to drop fast at around a 1/4 tank.

I'd just consider 1/4 tank as the fill up point and worry about something else...besides, if you don't have a baffle or two your not gonna keep the needle stable while you drive anyway due to slosh.
