    anyone?

  6. Yep, it's on. We'll start at my place on Thursday evening for the best burgers money can buy (free). That's gonna start around 3pm. Then on to Taylor for Thirsty Thursday's hosted by the Thunderbolts. An Awesome time with an awesome club in one of the best Hotrod Garage's on the planet. That will do it for Thursday. On Friday, we're gonna start at 8am sharp at my place in Hutto. We'll be done a little after lunch. Stay tuned for the specifics!

I hope I am not speaking out of turn here, please no one take this the wrong way, we definitely want everyone that can to come to Thirsty Thursday, and have a good time, but when you leave please do so without squealing tires, rapping pipes or making a lot of noise.
Geez, I alread feel like I ought not post this, I hope this doesn't piss Billy off or keep anyone from coming, Billy & I have been friends for over 40 years, but Billy's place is in a residential neighborhood and he has one neighbor that does not like Thirsty Thursday. Last year the guy filmed the pre Roundup event, from inside his house, and filed a complaint with the city of Taylor and Billy had to go to court & pay a fine.
Please don't take this the wrong way, we are not walking on eggshells here, just don't do any burnouts or anything. We got a sweet thing going with Thirsty Thursday, want to share it with everyone, but we also don't want to get it shut down.

Damn, I sound like my Mother.

    Thanks, see you guys there!!!!!:)

South Austin Speed Shop (Fat Luckys is inside) is going to have a Friday afternoon/evening open house. We may do something on Saturday night too. We're working out the details and we'll post ASAP.
We're so excited about the Round up...Will and Steve really know how to do it right. We're also excited about everyone being able to see our shop that hasn't before. We just moved into our new location this week (behind the old one) and we're going to have a VERY special musical guest for you to come check out one night....
    stay tuned!
    John Joyo...

  11. Hey Reggie, if you add Crushproof to the shop crawl, everyone can come have another laugh at the HAMB Bomb. It'll be at Lux Blu's shop by then.

Thanks for the heads up bud. I believe eveyone knows your just posting this for the good of the whole. Most of the time it sounds better coming from someone other then the host. I know, I've been there throwing big car partys and trying to keep the neighbors happy at the same time.

Perhaps I can lighten up this dudes mood abit by sharing some cookies. I will make sure I take him over alittle plate of them.;)

Anybody acts up and gets Thirsty Thursday shut down, let us know. It'll likely be their last Roundup.

Coupes good. Still not scary enough, but we'll get there.

If you're at the shop right now, head over to the Red Scoot. I'm walking out the door to head over there. Ugly Beats are playing outside and Shaun's new surf band, the Thunercheifs are gonna play a few. I'll buy the first round.

prolly Lone Star and Shiner 96. sorry about the Coors. he comes in with a couple cases that are out of date by 1 day (that's right,ONE day) and says "Here,Drink these!"--this immediatly applies to my departed grandfathers words...
"I only drink two kinds of beer--Lowenbrau (Dude! it has dots!") and FREE."
who am I to argue with genius?

the hot part, however was my fault.fridge was full of gatorade. clearly a serious gearhead faux pax.my bad.

Ya know, with the model chicks prancin' around, and the free part, that Coors wasn't as bad as I thought it was gonna be. The second one didn't even cause me to make faces.

Beer in a keg that's been around for 10 years, of course. What were YOU thinking it was??

We will be down there starting Wednesday evening, so I'm in!

Of course you knew shiner was a beer... I was saying it was shiner that's been in a keg for 10 years.... 1996 - 2006.... Maybe it's their new line of "we just found some beer we forgot to sell, so make it sound fancy" beer. sounds scarry!
