Ok... I know that there are several threads already about the Round Up, but*****it, I am as excited as a petterass in a schoolyard.
I am taking off the rest of the week to get all the last minute***** done before the trip... I might even get mini bike #2 finished up before Friday.

The weather looks good so far.. upper 70's and low 80's. At least it should'nt be cold this year...

By the way, does anyone that is headed to Austin have the following:
Fuel pump push rod for a '49 Ford
    94 8BA carb (top only)

I usually carry an extra push rod and carb, but I can't find the extra push rod that I have and the fuel inlet is stripped on my extra 94 carb....

Don't forget to meet on I-35 at Carls Corner @ noon (anyone traveling south from DFW)

Let's hear a big yee-haw for anyone headed to Austin!

Outlaw and Beatnik could pretty much get to the club by just throwing thier cars in neutral.

They'd have to fire 'em up to get back home, though.

    Should be ready to roll...
I came across a 94 top that I needed today... thanks to those who offered...

    Funny (actually not) story...
I was going through my usual trip-prep today and noticed that one side of the flathead was running a little hot.
I pulled the thermostat to check it out in a pot on the stove and it opened up just fine.
BUT... when I went to put everything back together I over tightened the thermostat housing and CRIZZACK! the cast iron housing broke in half!
I haulled**** over to Antique auto in Arlington and picked up a new set.. and everything appears to be fine..
I would like a 30 minute free-for-all shoppng spree in antique auto with a big fat shopping cart!!!!!

I am soo excited.. and I have the rest of the week off....
    Austin here I****!

HankCash, That's the place at the end of Colorado, right? The guy with that warehouse load of NOS stuff? Yeah, that place is the cat's****. OldCarPilot and I wandered in there one day and were amazed.

That's right around the corner from where I'll be tomorrow and Thursday! The guy didn't seem like he really wanted us in there, very short answers and it seemed like any parts we asked about, he didn't have, except for OCP's 1957 Chevy gas cap to replace the Dixie cup someone had wedged in the hole instead!

When possible, I deal with Ronnie at Antique Auto. He drives a shoebox coupe and is really helpful. Has any body delt with Stacey, the owner, He always seemed kinda moody for some reason. Nice guy when hes in a good mood. Oh yea, ROUNDUP BABY!!!!!

Stacey's a interesting type of guy, but he knows his*****.
I've gotten all kinds of odd***** from him, '59 Rambler tailight lenses, tailgate handle for a 57 Dodge wagon.
