  1. hey everyone - Its a new year and we here at Kontinentals World HQ down in South Austin, Texas are getting going on the 3rd Annual Lonestar Rod and Kustom Round Up. Yessir - we are proud to be bringing it back, bigger and badder than ever - Dates for this years Round Up are March 26-28. Thanks in advance for all the support the HAMBers have been giving our shin-dig the last few years - we've been knocked out by your enthusiasm and gr***-roots support - telling friends about it and getting the word out.

Schedules, photos and registration details are all at
    http://www.lonestarroundup.com/

El Jefe is still booking bands and getting the music all lined up - we will post the band lineup as we get it. So far we have confirmed performing:

Shaun Young - aka the Hamb's own Krupanut

    Marti Brom

    Junior Brown

    Wayne "the train" Han****

Bill Kirchen (of Commander Cody cl***ic, "Hot Rod Lincoln" fame)

    The Paladins

Southern style strippin' of Red Light Burlesque

and many more to come - check back for more band details

hope you are all having a great New Year - I started things off with a bang by getting engaged! yee haw - Mrs Beatnikontinental and I are very happy - but between that and work stuff, I've been a bit behind on things - so bear with me if you've sent me an email lately - I'm getting to ya, brother...

So sound off - whose coming to the show? What car clubs will be representing, so I can list em on the website.

Get to wrenching on that ride so you can cruise with us this Spring - and if you have any questions, just drop me a line at beatnik@kontinentals.com

Count me in, registration will go out Monday.

Don't want to get caught in the cold in front of the club
    without a laminate.

Are the laminate's the same price for extra people that are not bringing a car in? The website said they were available, but did'nt specify the cost of those.

  12. The laminate is the same price for everyone who wants one, whether they are bringing a car or not - that gets you in the door to the Continental for shows both Friday and Saturday nights, gets you breakfast both mornings, and gets you and your car (if you have one) into the car show on Saturday. If you're not bringing a car, just tell us when you register so we can keep an accurate count of registered cars.

If someone is coming along that just wants to come in to the show on Saturday afternoon, but doesn't have a car and doesn't want to do all the shows at the Continental - they can pay $10 general admission at the gate on the day of the show. Kids under 12 are free
