I will be driving my 58 Apache as well, just picked up the motor for it sunday and the air suspension is done got it laying on the body now... gotta work on shaving and bodywork and get the bed sheetmetaled for the bike to fit in the back of it. And new wheels and hopefuly time for some interior and all that. Wanna roll there with the truck painted and the bike in the bed painted to match

 

Your quick transformation of that truck is simply amazing. Way to go man!

That truck/bike is SICK! What color are you going with?

 

I want to do it a 2 tone silver and green is what I am thinking.... I wanted to do a flake green on top with silver on the bottom but now I am leaning more towards a limetime pearl green on the top and maybe even silver or a cream color on the bottom half.

 

I think lime pearl green top and body spear, phantom grey/charcoal mini flake bottom would look bitchin'

 

ya I wanna have flake in it somewhere and I have been thinking about doing something with the spear on the bedside to make it stand out. And I want to do some zodiac flaked vinyl in the interior somehow also. Inserts or something ... but doubt I will have the interior done for roundup.

Thank you, They should both be there this year ... Last year I finished the bike on thursday night and drove it to Austin the next morning for Roundup... kind of a scary first ride/shakedown run but no major problems and it made it there and back safe and sound.

 

If nothing too major breaks by then...

Damn Droplord my old girl is looking good I wish I could show the same amount of work to you on your old Riv. After I lowered and put bellflowers on it, all I can seem to do is keep it running. Now I gotta go find another 55 Olds.
