Rudy's? Certainly you had better BBQ when you were down here. The BEST I could say about Rudy's is to buy some of their sauce and take it to a real BBQ joint.

Stubbs is pretty dang good. I have Stubbs sauce in my fridge. I'm not to BBQ afficianado (sp) that some folks are, but I know what I like.

The best BBQ around here, IMHO, is either Salt Lick or Kreuz's. Salt Lick is in Driftwood, Kreuz is in Lockhart, both about 30-45 mins. away. The best, in town, is either Stubb's, or Iron Works.

I'll probably be lurking around outside the CC club, trying to smooth talk a goldchainer out of his/her passes so I can see Wayne Hancock...[IMG]

Heading out Fri morning hopefully with that THEM(Tx) crew. That is if I can get the kids all loaded up in time.Wife is already asking if there is any sites along the way for the kids to stop and see.

I figure Carls corner will be a cultural experience for the little tykes and if thats not enough I'm sure that the Cezch Stop will round out their day of fun.

Anyone gotta a large ball of foil in Austin we can drop by and see?A large ball of twine will also be suitable.

Was'nt sure if the Golden Boy was gonna make this trip or not due to space, but I think Flt-Blk may be hauling it for me.It's getting close and I'm ready to get the wagon on the road.

    See everyone there.
