Just as long as the trunk still opens and cooler still fits!!

    looks great Tyler!

  3. The cooler still fits. Now if I can only figure out how to
    keep it full of Lonestar????

I should have the new trunk hinges with working springs
next time you see it. Makes for easier access

Hell yeah, I think it looks much better now. IMHO by the time '55 rolled around a lot of the coolness of the original design was lost with overuse of chrome and extra doodads.

    Congrats.

It sure looks better with the new frontend. You should pick up an extra hood, no need to ruin that one when you cut a hole for the blown Hemi:cool: :) . Well, you did say you were going to Bonneville and I just assumed............ Never Mind!!

i like it better now. I know you don't want to talk about it, but what's the deal with the kid's insurance???? I don't want to run into the same problems....

  9. Tyler, glad to see one of us back on the road. It looks good man! The louvers are perfect!

Well, I'm all set to start working on mine. The insurance company was giving me the run around until a couple of weeks ago. I happen to be in San Antonio (their home base) and payed them a personal visit. I just walked up their management chain, boss to boss, 'till I got to a Director. He told me that he'd take care of it. The claim was settled in 2 days. Unfortunate that it had to come to that, but I'm glad that part is over. So Tyler, your claim against them should be a slam dunk now.

thats funny...you had go man to man.shouldnt be like that.all the money for insurance...crooks.

  11. That car rocks. I love the paint & louvers. Hope to see it in person one day.

  12. Unfortunately they are still vehemently disputing my
claim. How they can pay 100% of your claim and accept
no accountability for mine astonishes me.

Until the lawyers figure it out I'm out the deductible for
my insurance and the points that go with it.

    La Grasta,
wait until you see it in Washington Blue and white shiny
paint, then it will look good.
