Event Coverage Royboy Goes To the 24 Invasion

The next few weeks will be a grind for me as Royboy. Three weeks in a row I have folks that I call my friends putting on shows, all in the DFW area. Soooooo, that means three trips from Wichita, KS down to DFW in three weekends in a row.
The first one was yesterday, I rolled out around 5:30 am in the daily headed south on I-35 to hit The Invasion! in the Deep Ellum section of Dallas. The show is put on by THEM! car club and I’ve only been able to get down there once before.
With traffic it was nearly 6 hours of drive time, but going from 44° in Wichita to 82° in TX was a nice change.

I had a great time at the show, seeing friends from the Okie Sleds that have not gotten to see enough this year. I spent a few hours there and headed back so I could spend the evening with my wife. This week is our second anniversary and she works evenings so it was good to spend time with her watching our team playing an in state rival.
