Well, I'm in full car show hangover mode right now, it always happens after a great weekend with friends and family at the Stray Kat 500 in Dewey, OK. On Friday I rolled out early headed for OK, because my Lonely Knights club brothers and sisters had come all the way from Colorado Springs and they were leading the Friday Reliability Run to a couple of the Outsiders movie filming locations. Saturday and Sunday we had the show and I was pleasantly surprised with the amount of cars that stuck around on Sunday this year. It's always down because people are getting on the road for long drives and can't stay, but this year there were more cars on Sunday than there have been. The rest of the story I'll let the video show
Good to see you again Travis!! I always wish these weekends were longer to be able to spend more time with everyone!
For sure, it seems if we spend any time with anyone we neglect getting time to hang with someone else. It’s good to have a big kustom family. Love what you’ve done with the car!
I'll try to get the photos put up after work today. Last night I was getting some impromptu TIG welding lessons, guess now I get to buy a TIG machine as well. Hell of a time to start all of this fabrication stuff at 50 years old, maybe I can get decent by the time I retire.
Thanks Travis for capturing the show on video. I'm seeing stuff I didn't get to see or maybe I forgot.. Lol! Saturday just flew by too fast. Always enjoy your coverage.
Travis, Always a pleasure to visit with you, your lovely bride and your dad....thanks for all your historical documentation.... when you get good at tig welding maybe there is a Lincoln in your future after all
