That's awesome. A '28-29 RPU is my favorite old Ford. I couldn't be more jealous. I'd put that SBC in there though. The banger just isn't enough and the Hemi is just too much. Have fun with it!!

See my thread on the Model A Touring/Phaeton "barn find" I ran across Sunday... if your buddy wants a built banger, I may be able to set him up with one (has been run, but no miles) and a whole restored ch***is/drivetrain to go with it! Granted, we are in GA, but it may be cheaper/easier for him in the long run.
