I've see pic's of this truck around, and was wondering if anyone knows the story on the bed thats on it.

    Handmade?
    Fiberglass?
    Cut down late model?

Looks to me like a cut down late model. Possibly chevy fenders with the tail lights filled in. I've seen quite a few of those beds fully shaved and it looks awfully close.

I don't know the story on it, but my first impression was a late model cut down.
Perhaps one off of one of those 4 door trucks....?

  7. I agree it looks like a late model bed cut down.

Don't much care for it though. For the same amount of effort you could make a traditional looking one. Better yet copy the Roswell Rod and make one out of the back fenders of a finned car.

I don't know it's a good looking truck, a bit to smooth? Yea, I just hadn't seen that style bed before.

Actually if I copy anything it's going to be the bed from Plowboys Space truck. I think that was genius, except maybe use a 59 Impala 4 door back half, so it's not as obvious that I'm stealing his ideas.
