Thanks for the strokes. Wheels are '40 Ford. Front tires are 6.00 x 16, rears are 7.00 x 16. At first I was thinking the fronts could be smaller, and the rears taller -- but this has grown on me. After all, it's a truck....

How 'bout some details on the nailhead?

    Year, mods, etc.

It's a '54 322, little bit bigger exhaust valves than the first-year heads. It's rebuilt with a mild Schneider cam, three 94s with progressive linkage on an Offy manifold, and an HEI built into the stock dizzy. It's sitting on some old Hurst Nailhead-to-Deuce motor mounts. ****** is a Ford 4 speed top-loader with Hurst linkage. 9 inch rear end on '40 springs.

The engine was my son's, he's was going to put it into his '53 Pontiac -- but contributed it to the cause. Great kid, huh?

What are you using for folding windshield posts? Something custom built or aftermarket, or what?

Could anyone tell me what Master Cylinder that is and bore size too.

    Steve.

  17. I struck gold. MAN. I gotta go with the majority, your truck in right on the money. That's pretty much what I want to with my Nailhead. It looks like a ball to cruise in.
What kind of adapter did you use for the Top loader trans to Buick? Mine is a 401.
