Here are some pic's from this weekends work.I got my seat frames made still have to get foam and upholstry ,There a kinda cross between bomber seats and patio furniture Let me know what you think GREGG
A few guy's wanted to see some detail pic's of my steering box / brake pedal set up so I'm including some pic's of those also.If pic's dont show what you want to know just ask and I'll try and explain.GREGG
Here's a tip on the seats - you want to sit "in" the seat, not "on" the seat. Many years ago a friend built a C-cab from scratch and the bench seat is flat. It's hard to stay on the seat when braking. The front of the seat needs to be higher to create a "pocket" to sit "in". A good upholstery shop should do this without even thinking about it. Other than that bit of advice (from experience) they look comfortable. Tracy
Didgy there not mounted yet. It's hard to see in the pic's but the seats are blocked up with 2x4's they do tilt back and the bottom is sprung so you definitly sit in the seats.I allready tested them with some pieces of foam I had here at shop. Trust me these are not the first seats Ive built. I spent alot of time making sure there comfortable. GREGG
Richard the box is a chrysler box from a 65 belvedere .It's mounted to a 1/4 in plate welded to the hoop you see in pic's .Hoop has diaganal braces at each side. GREGG
I'm using the same box, I can't see the bracing very well in the photos. Pedals look pretty god, BTW.
