This saturday, the 14th, we are having a BBQ build day at my house in Swanton Ohio. It's near Toledo. Anyone who wants to come, is welcome, but we may put you to work. PM me for directions. We'll burn some meat in the afternoon. Things start about 10am and go to whenever. Friday we are going to the Ford Museum, and sunday to the ACD museum, you are welcome to join us there too.
I, for one, am really looking forward to the weekends activities. There are RRT/HAMB guys attending from MT, TX, FL, IN, MI, IL, and of course OH. Can't wait, it will be a blast. I do wonder though if anything on the BBQ trailer will be accomplished. See ya tomorrow Frank
Same one, just getting a tune up and some spring cleaning. We will be practicing leaning on it and drinking beer from what I hear
It is the last one, the only one, that we will be working on. Spiffing it up. Repacking the wheel bearing, checking all the welds...including mine, replacing the burner elements, washing and waxing it, basicly a going-over so it will be ready for this years cruzn season. Dennis, the guys "threatened" me with putting an oven it in but I told them if they did they would be the ones baking outta it. Really though, the guys do the majority of the cooking and cleaning up when it comes to this BBQ trailer. Ken, OhioBlueTip is a machine behind the grill and rarely misses an opportunity to show off his skills. Lots of folks do pitch in shuckin corn or perhaps bringing a dish to p***. A real family type of enviroment for sure. I do cook breakfast on the grill the Sunday morning of the NSRA Kzoo event. You'll have to stop by and have breakie with us. Here's a couple of photos from the original build I must add the BBQ trailer was the very first thing I learned to weld on
