Rude guy at a show...

Yesterday i was at a cruise at John Force's shop there is a f100 unibody there and its not hamb worthy but i tell the guy that i like that he did a ford in a ford and he looks at me and tells me to get lost... I guess thats what i get for going to a event with 90% of the cars on foose rims...

 

Take it with a grain of salt.. There's a LOT of assholes out there who have issues..obviously he was one.
His ole lady probably said she had a headache the night before..

 

My car isn't very HAMB friendly but I'd never be rude.....to anyone!
WTF? You show interest & try & strike up conversation & get blown off.
He'd be an ass- even if he was driving a HAMB friendly car. My 2 cents.

 

I used to go to that show,just to meet R Cole and BS. But the last time I was there,these two guys started argueing about who deserved a trophy! RIGHT in front of everybody!
Then there was the time the guy at the driveway told me "NO RAT RODS!"
I was in my Merc. I haven't gone since last year. Seems like all of those same guys who go to Giovannis,Garden Grove,Labor Day Cruise,and many of them show up at the NHRA Twilight Cruise too.
SAME guys,same cars! Same attitude!
I don't need that...

hmmmmm....well don't worry - that kind of rudeness isn't tolerated here.

 

i asked a guy why he put 20" rims on a compleatly restored to stock 54' chevy.
he yelled up and down calling me a fucking dumbass and asking me what the hell i drive, when i told him the 49' F-1 next to him, he called it the lowest form of car in the world. then drove off.

 

The guy may be hiding the fact that he knows nothing of how the car was built, He may have deep pockets and just used his Visa or got it on sleezy-bay.

We waited 45 minuted fo the dragster to run friday in Salina at the KKOA races. JUST as it was staging for the real deal, some douche bag with a super duty puls the WRONG WAY down the lanes and blocks the view of every body on our side.

Then he rolls out his "I was on PINKS" dodge, fires it up, and it started grinding something BAD. Put it back on the trailer and bailed, wasn't there for 10 minutes.

HAHA, Seymour fooled me with his. I had done made a fool of myself until it dawned on me they were just modified Y block valve covers on an SBC.

I wouldn't be surprised if he was a Chevy guy and "thought" he had a Chevy engine and thought you were just being smart.

Thats something that was done on the computer a few years ago. I would not lower that truck that much, I was into minitrucks then...

Their are plenty of non HAMBer cars on this site with airride on them...Build it your way

 

Best way to avoid the A-hole's is to not go where they congregate. I went to Force's place once...and once was enough. Touring the shop was cool enough, but too many Hawiian shirts and matching lawn chairs in the parking lot.

 

Maybe he had bad hearing and forgot his Miricle ear hearing aid and thought your said somthing like "you look like the turd driving that Ford".
