THE ROLLING BONES TRAVELING CIRCUS IS HEADED TO BONNEVILLE , BY THE TIME WE GET THERE THE CIRCUS WILL HAVE GROWN TO 20 HOT RODS , A VERY KOOL RACE MOTORCYCLE AND FOUR RACE CARS. AUGUST 6 th. WE WILL BE AT THE ECONO LODGE ,10667 FREMONT PIKE IN PERRYSBURG,OH , THE 7th. THE MOTEL 6, 3225 ADVENTURELAND DR. ALTOONA,IA, THE 8th.THE MOTEL 6, 1520S, NORTH PLATTE,NE (WE WILL BE AT THE WHISKEY CREEK SALOON ), THE 9th. AT THE TRAVEL LODGE ,1617 W. SPRUCE,RAWLINS,WY, THE 10th. THE SALT FLATS SPEED SHOP PARTY,OREM,UT. AND AFTER THAT ON THE SALT. IF WE ARE IN YOUR NECK OF THE WOODS COME BY AND HANG OUT WITH US IN THE PARKING LOT.

I still need to stop by the shop one day. I live 6 minutes from you guys (on north greenfield rd), and drive by all the time. Just wasn't sure if it was cool for people to just stop in. One day I will get up the nerve...lol anyway, if I don't stop in, have an awesome trip!

 

Meet you at the Salt Flats Speed Shop....currently still building 31 Coupe, East Coast style...channeled 4-1/2", Z'd 7" with early Olds, 2-2 barrels and 3-speed T-85 w/overdrive, 38 dash and its not chopped...

 

Terror Swain, I drove my A mordoor from FL to visit these guys. You won't meet a more hospitable "bunch".

 

saw a glympse of you guys back in 2008 at the so cal speed shop...i belive it was 2008...anyway, great cars...some of the best hot rods in the world....wish I can be part of that circus...but I hate clowns!

Would love to make the trip but just not time for it right now. I have plans for next one though so maybe before I crump I will get to see the salt!

WE SHOULD BE IN ERIE PA. AROUND 1:00 - 1:30 FOR LUNCH ON THE 6 th. AT THE STEAK AND LUBE WHERE WE USUALLY MEET UP WITH THE ERIE COUNTY FLATHEAD BOYS AND GIRLS.ON PEACH STREET. HUGE COOKOUT AT PERRYSBURG ,OH. THAT NIGHT IN THE PARKING LOT WITH THE SHORT BUS BOY AND OUR FRIENDS FROM CINCINNATI. THIS WILL BE A HOT ROD GATHERING NOT TO BE MISSED IF YOUR IN THE AREA" BUT DON'T COME EMPTY HANDED " IF YOUR HUNGRY CONTRIBUTIONS TO THE GRILLS AND KOOLERS ARE THE ENTRY FEE.

I'll be one the people waiting or looking for the next updates on this one when ever I can find wifi on vacation. I'll be out cruising on salt but it will be a lot wetter.

Dam! Some year I'm gonna join the treck when you guys pass thru Nebraska. Unfortunately this year I'll be returning home from the NSRA circus in Louyville when you guys are going thru Corn country. I swear I'm gonna sell this chassis business one of these years so I can do some of these fun things.

 

Altoona on sunday night will be a cookout on the grill in the parking lot of the motel 6 .
Same deal as perrysburg -drinking beverage of choice and telling lies while leaning on hot rods .
Entry fee is something for the grill and the kooler

 

Can you post a lot of pics of john swander's car on the salt? I love that car

Man, I'd love to make it out to Altoona to meet you guys, it's only a couple hours from here. You guys blew past me on I-74 West of Peoria, IL when I was on my way home from the Nats in Louisville last summer. Quite a site to see.
