Like the ***le says, who's going to be there from the HAMB? I'd like to put a few faces to screen names.
The wife and I went last year. WAY to many Camaros and Mustangs for me ... but at least a trip to Myrtle Beach is nice. .
I had a buddy call me last year while I was at the show. He asks "Where you at?" I replied "I'm over here by the 68 Camaro." I didnt see him for over an hour.

I'll be there with my 52 chevy panel truck. The show grounds are right down from my office so I'll be floating back and forth. There are thousands of rooms available I'd bet. But the hotels within walking distance of the shoe may be getting booked out.

We have been trying to plan a breakfast or lunch to meet other HAMBer at the run to the sun Hope to post some thing more in a few day's. But look forward to meeting every one we can.
I rode by the grounds over the weekend- the pine pollen will be right on que this year although we may dodge the live oaks by a week. If you have allergies like me, bring meds! Sit back and watch the guys go crazy dusting their cars- enjoy.
THIS is NOT to discourage anyone from going but ... Be careful at the headqaurters motel while registering or picking up your packet. A guy I know got " rolled " there last year. While in the parking lot, some fellows grabed him from behind, lifted him up off the ground and then took his wallet. They then threw him on the ground and ran. They got $1100 dollars. He got a partial tag number from their vehicle ( out of state tag ) but the police could not help him. We all know that a show like this draws a big crowd and therefor draws the undesirables also. They see it as a great opportunity to score. Just be careful ... and aware of your suroundings.
Agreed. Partly why I have a CWP and a loaded gun. Being a local I can tell you there is a fare share of derelicts. The show is in a pretty good area. Like anywhere these days you have to be on the defense. Lets try and have a good time. Cars are already starting to roll in.........
I have to work Saturday, so I'll have to stop earlier in the week. If anyone is around Market Commons (south side of the sirport) on Saturday, stop in at Myrtle Beach Segway for a very non-HAMB friendly demo of a Segway.
I heard they are running flat heads in the Segways..... Flat black and rede wheels....mmm might be cathing on to something
Andy- Mostly the flatheads are riding the Segways ;-) I just rode up 501 from MB to Conway. The southbound lane of 501 looks like a linear car show. A few trailers, but lots of stuff being driven. Looking forward to it.
