    Hey Guys,

My name is David De La Garza. I just got a 1955 chevy 1st series pick-up with a 235 six. It is currently running on 3 1/2 cylinders & I am looking for someone to overhaul it for me. My mechanic wants me to send it to Jasper Engines in IN & I have found Povertyflats here. I just wanted to know it you guys know of the work of either of these guys?

    Thanks,

    David

I highly recommend povertyflats as he has the best engines and is a great guy to deal with! Wait a minute---I'm looking at him in the mirror--- :)

Check your engine out before going all out---I drove a '53 Chevy home on 3.5 cylinders and had it hitting on all six by suppertime. Burned exhaust valve in #2 and a chunk of head gasket gone between #4 and #5.
