That's a good one... yeah, I'm sure it was running when parked, but I don't think that's going to sell you sell it more now. The moss on the transmission I think makes it even funnier.

Well, the only thing I can say about it positive is that it is a 59L engine.
Factory relieved, higher content of nickel.

I bought a 56 Olds like that. The old guy said it ran great when he parked it in 61. I pulled the dipstick and it was full of oil, so for $100 bux I couldn't loose, right?
When I pulled the motor I figured it would be a good time to drain the old oil out of it. I pulled the drain plug and water started pouring out! It just kept coming and coming, finally some black old oil started to come out. Well needless to say the engine was junk. The oil was floating on top of the water, when I pulled the dipstick the oil stuck to it.
I bet that flatty is in the same shape!

The fun part is the opening bid doesn't meet his reserve. Never pay more than a hundred on a flatty block till it's been checked for cracks. I don't care what model it is.
    Word to the wise.

  15. did anyone notice the shipping and handleing?

Shipping and handling: US $10.00 (within United States)
Buyer pays for all shipping costs
    Shipping insurance: Not offered
Will ship to United States only.

That must be what he wants to put it on a pallet.

I went to school with a guy from NICEVILLE - one of the meanest SOB's you would ever meet, when he drank, nice when he didn't.

Speaking of Fla names, I grew up outside of Fruitville, now live 4 miles north of Switzerland, been to Two Egg, got some potatoes in Spuds, passed out on Siesta Key... [IMG]
