Event Coverage ~~~Runway Rumble Pic's~~~ 9/12/09

Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by Bad Bob, Sep 12, 2009.

  1. Met up with Timebomb and cruised on over to "Chips" in Hawthorne, for breakfast, with GassersGarage,TikiDiablo,AlteredPilot, and Dane Matsubara. Cool old Diner! 50's music playing, cool pictures on the walls, big, long counter. Good breakfast too!
We left there and headed to the show, which was about 2 miles from there. There was already about 30 cars when we got there. Such a cool setting for a small show! Parking on the grass with great old planes all around you, jets flying over your head. Breakfast burrito and coffee to anyone who brought a car. Groucho,Timebomb,Tiki, and AlteredPilot stayed for the brunch, but I had to leave. Trace said he plans on having the show every year. I'd say,you have to come to the next one! It was really fun!
    Enjoy the pic's...

who gave this one star? this show was the shit! I will definitely be back next year!

It was a real mellow atmosphere, you could bring the family. Plenty of Grass to sit on, and lots of shade under real vintage airplane wings! Cheap admission price, good bands, the tuskegee airmen also made an appearance . It was a smaller show since it was the first year, but Ill bet next year the word will get out. Hopefully it wont get too big and out of control. I doubt it, it was a real classy venue. The buffet kicked ass and it was only $10. Ill post some pics in a bit as well..
