Im looking at a 30 Model A Sedan 1) What is the best way to remove all the interior surface rust getting in all the nooks and crannies? Will I be able to paint up inside the doors panels? <?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-comfficeffice" /><o></o> 2) Is $2500 a reasonable price pay for a shipped and clear titled body. It needs all lower patch panels and visor. All garnish, regulators and door hardware is there. <o></o> I thought Id ask the experts. Thanks H.A.M.B!! <o></o> Bryan
Most of the time they wont blast the inside of the door panels,,theres a texture that Ford used and its there for structure..it will warp the door if they do.
Not a bad price... I paid 2K for mine and it has all the window garnishing and needs all new lower patch panels... I say jump on it...
Makes me wonder if $2500 is reasonable for a rustier A tudor on a rolling chassis, with motor, radiator, and some cruddy front fenders. Needs the same patch panels, and to be blown apart and put back together.
I don't know...here's an ad out of ahooga.com today..is your's this good? 1930 Tudor sedan, Car is complete, except missing rear seat .needs total restoration.Asking $2500.00
I've never seen one for sale for $1000, unless it was a running doodlebug conversion of some sort and priced on the high side.
$2500 for a complete A is nice but selling all the crap i don't need is a hassle. plus it didn't mention a title. i perfer a titled car so i don't get the run around by the DMV. thanks for the comments. BTTT for one more round. Bryan
