Adding common washing soda, available in the detergent aisle, does the same thing. The idea is to get the solution to near neutral Ph for chelation. I’ve been using both a molasses solution and the washing soda / citric acid methods. The citric acid method is faster, and thus does a better job. Next question is what do I do with forty pounds of powdered molasses that I still have?
Todays citrus accid works on 392 heads. But its allot of work, 2-3 hotbath with soda then accid. Laser is fast but waterjackets is the case so the okd work must go on.
