I believe you’ve added the wrong link.

HA, guess so. And now I can't locate the original video. Guess I should have slept in!

I've been slapped a lot with an ad recently about a rust remover that is too good to be true.
I haven't bothered watching it all the way through.

If it sprays onto a pitted part and dries smooth and polished, every restorer, manufacturer and maintenance company would buy it by the barrel or train tank.

FWIW, I have become a fan of soaking rusty steel stuff in citric acid solution. Gets rid of rust and makes ****py old paint easy to s****e/wire brush off. Pretty cheap and easy to dispose of.
Haven’t done anything really big but several brackets, bolts, some light buckets and stuff like that with good results.

001.JPG 005.JPG 002.JPG 010.JPG citric acid ... I've used it on small parts ... buy it from a shop/store that sells food items in bulk ... as Avater says, it's cheap ... try it ... edit: here is a part I have had in citric acid for about 4 days; it's the top of a gear change turret. Pics before, during, after (just looking dull after all the rust is gone) and last pic is after a light sanding and wire brushing (in that last photo the wire brushing is not finished)

Dam, that was a pop up add yesterday morning and of course it has disappeared never to be seen again.

Lots of pop up ads on YouTube for a miracle spray that turns rotten, rust, dirty old **** into something that looks to be fresh out of the chrome shop. Unbelievable. Unbelievable is often cited as synonimous with incredible, but this instance it's beyond belief, as in not credible.

I tested this guys recipe with powdered citric acid and washing soda and it works pretty good. I didn't scrub the manifolds before dropping them in and a quick wire brush took off 99% of the left over gunk. I mixed it up with the hottest tap water I could get out of the faucet as it was in Dec and not the warmest in my garage.
