I saw that in front of a tire shop and it was for sale, but that was over a year ago and I haven't been by there again. I think the price written on it was about $8,000.00.

Here's some relics I spotted during a recent stroll through a New York wrecking yard. Yes they are for sale.

I p***ed by this many times but it was under a blue tarp. At one time it was a Hupmobile Skylark although customized in the late 50's. Kiwi Kev thanks for all your photos.

Man I wish I had my pictures of junkyards in Mexico right about now. I left the film on a pyramid when I was putting in a new roll :) tons of rusted sheetmetal, looked like maybe a fire had gone through there and burned off all the paint or something crazy. more than one looked like that. go figure.

I just took a picture of the only think I've ever found. It's an old car trunk that was in my uncle's pasture near Wills Point, Texas.

    Anybody recognize it?

"It" is some type of orchard sprayer, probably a Bean. The "motor" is actually the pump for the spray nozzle.

    Me too...
Took about 4 hours going around the yard and still never really saw it all.
It rained the whole time we were there or I would have got more pics.
The parts stored inside were a mind blower.
60 years of collecting sure does fill the shelves...
It was 35 years or so since I last went there. Things change.
