A very elderly friend told me that Rustoleum and Exorust are switching to water base? I don't have TV or cable, and I'd say that is where he heard that? Is it true or false?

For $90 plus shipping you can get 2 gallons of sprayable primer at summit (gallon paint, gallon catalyst) eastwood should be similar, tcpglobal is another good site to check.

If you take the time to prep it, use automotive paint.

I shoot a lot of rustoleum with harbor freight guns, I like using it, but not on cars.

I came home one afternoon and my teen age son had rattle can primed our 66 C10 with rustoleum brown primer. That was over 20 years ago, and the primer is still on the truck. Best part of the deal is that if we get a little scratch or boo boo, out comes the spray can, and we are good to go.
