Cleaned out and welded up the seam to make them into one piece fenders, I will trim off the flange underneath when I take the front clip apart

And I modified the inner fenders to mount to the "new" lower cowl as well as some unseen stuff to mount the bottom of the fender to the front of the rocker panels..

I am not really sure prolly just the originals to start with, I think I have a pair of the ribbed Merc ones, if they are usable I will run those till I come up with something else. I have seen a few done with the 52-54 Ford Mercs with the bezel cut down by at least 50% looked pretty cool!

Wow, short time, for a lot done.
Listen... take care of the back. If you mess that up you will be out for a long time. I know.

Its the crouching or sitting hunched over for too long that starts the bad pains...when its getting close I find something to do in a different position...which is why some paint is getting cleaned off lol!

    ya, I hear ya.
Good thing you have enough to do so you can change position often!
I HOPE to get back at the T next month, if family can stay out of the hospital and I can stop traveling so much.

Next you have to improve the old gal's smile with a new grill. ;)

I was thinking about this car this morning and it's relation to the "Undead". Zombies are very popular these days and this seems an example of one. Brought back from beyond. I guess zombies aren't all bad.

Thanks! This is the worst pile of parts I have ever made into a car maybe it is a Zombie :D On those occasions when I dont feel I have been getting much done on it I just go to the start of this thread and that takes care of it!

The crappy grilles frame work is almost perfect and I dont think the front clip has ever been apart and the alignment is nice so its staying on there till I get the front clip mounted to the chassis then I will take apart the clip to blast everything...I have a nice original grille but am hoping to find something cool to use instead...
