I had to order stromberg Banjo fitting to get fuel lines routed around the radiator pipes. Bent up a few fuel lines to run to the old Weiand aluminum fuel block that I will mount on the firewall. 6DF1E2F4-A90F-43C0-8408-EA7E71823DD4.jpeg

  3. Hmmm, wonder where I saw that idea? ;)
Still tight, thought of running them up on top of each other? Stacked?

I saw those awhile ago but was asking if anyone had any other ideas before shelling out $115 for banjos.

Been plugging away with small stuff. Got the trunk floor welded in and the crossmember hump bolted down. 64A0B4B0-7232-4452-9271-43A32C532B56.jpeg E95B65B4-E2F0-4714-B243-F16130188402.jpeg Welded nut plates up in the sub rails so I can mount the trunk quarter down F12B8E29-EED3-4D11-AF2F-F7336692FAA4.jpeg Turned a few aluminum bungs to hold the headlight conduits on the frame. AA65B504-5DE7-4C1C-9F97-BBC3A297EFCE.jpeg And had my good friend Randy come up to the shop to help pinstripe the wheels. I had made a jig to hold my bugeler pinstripe tool but I couldn’t hold the tool and turn the wheel at the same time. They aren’t perfect but it looks damn fine. 0CB9CD30-1503-4A97-A342-45008EAD1EAD.jpeg 07A95D8D-5348-4708-9958-66D2571F48C3.jpeg

Today I cut it in half made a bung and lengthened it an 1-1/4”.

I haven’t really stopped working on it. Just a lot of small things that take time but don’t really seem like ya got anything done.

I’ve had this piece laying around for years but our local steel supplier has cut offs that a guy can buy small chunks.

I like the lengthening job on the tie rod. Glad you did it near one end and not in the middle.

I cut it right in the middle. The bung was a hammer it in fit so it will be plenty strong.

The roadster hasn’t seen the light of day for quite sometime. 0307E99B-3F7E-4165-A4C5-FA5A7A0C7BFD.jpeg 4598333C-76D2-4F9C-A0A5-B9AEDDB332A8.jpeg 38E62A32-1414-49CB-BB8C-F86DBFAC5957.jpeg

    Wow, officially a roller!
Maybe I missed it, did you ever resolve your fuel pump-throttle linkage issue?

I think I did, time will tell.
I have a little knee surgery tomorrow so the T might be idle for awhile.

I had forgot to post but my dad and I had bought a ruff 26 roadster on a model A frame. I was able to salvage the panel above the deck lid. Even though it need some holes filled and wiggles straightened it’s 100% better than the Howell sheetmetal panel that I wasted my money on. 7A98CD95-3F7E-42BD-A939-7138CA947FE7.jpeg

Like I told your dad, looks like you need to use that rear panel with the custom tail lights as well.
    Pretty classy looking
