Thats a great looking car, If I could afford to paint I would but for now i'm proud of what I have. I would not patina it on purpose and I hate the ones that are. This is a very entertaining thread though.

How about cars that have been around and the paint is burnt off over the years? arent they hot rods? Seems to me that theres a lot of people who have strong opinions on what should be and what shouldnt be and whats cool or not? isnt this how street rodding started? first comes paint and next its the white belt and shoes and gold chains! Arent we just lucky this Sh!t runs!
hahaha! personally the cars dont bother me eitherway..its the A$$holes that bug me...How many people on here that have cars that run and how many people drive more than 5000 miles a year in their Hot Rods? that should be the new thread...I see this Sh!t all the time and generally its the sidliners that dont have cars ripping on the guys doing it everyday...so paint no paint who gives a F@#$ anyway! drivem if ya got em! I like painted or no paint primered cars and I like Hot Rods...

They aren't done until the paint goes on. Some are never done (check avatar;)).

You should Red Oxide primer it. Then sand through to black. Start a trend!
