They told me I'd get over that stuff and that was over 40 years ago. Might yet but it looks kinda slim.

The KC paperman missed me again this morning for the third week in a row. First time that it really upset me. Congrats.

 

You know, correct me if i'm wrong, but if you take the first picture and lay it beside the second....they seem like they would fit right together and resemble the front page of a local paper. These guys wouldn't hide something that important from us would they? Where's Indiana Jones when you need him. I bet these precious gems wind up in a HAMB auction sometime in the near future!

Very cool, nice article and pics. Had a local paper do a full page article on our cars and shop. The reporter had stopped my Dad and I when I was driving my roadster around town, at the time I did'nt want to be bothered with it. But the article came out OK and emphasized that we did all our own work and pictured three generations of hot rodders, my Dad, myself and my son working on our cars.
This was about 4 years ago and my Dad is starting to slow down a bit physically, glad we took the time out to do it now.

I'm having trouble reading the article in the original post due to small print. Anybody have a link to the newspaper? I looked all over their site and can't find it. Searched for article ***le, and author ... nothing.

Obviously a simple typo--it must be a V8-60.

 

It's amazing that Tom Strongman actually found a newsworthy car story. I was getting a bit tired of the "this is my car I first bought" or "my wife had a suprise gift" articles. Good job on the positive PR guys . . . maybe we can get some more people to realize that Boyd Coddington or Chip Foose didn't have to sneeze on it to bless it and make it a real rod.
