Exactly. Once you see HAMB tag toppers at Wal-Mart, the world as we know it would truely be over.

I'm sure Ryan could pimp the HAMB "brand" and make big $$$, but he has always taken the high road...Keeping the HAMB stuff low production kind of keeps it special for "us" if you know what I mean.

Yea, I would LOVE a bad *** HAMB drag plate to hang off my bumper, but I gotta remember, it is a slipery slope. Remember what the punk rock guys say...once you are mainstream, you automaticly ****.

My response is not going to be popular or what some of you are gonna want to hear,,We have the availability of shirts, hats, key chains, alliance tags and most recent tag toppers.

I can ***ure you if Ryan wanted to produce them you would already have one by now. HRP

Hmmm... I guess a subtle hint doesn't work with you guys. So heres a link to Ryan's answer to the same question in '07. I'm thinking he hasn't changed his mind.

I make them out of cast alum, all I need is some clean art work, and I will make up 100 for the 1st run and donate back 30% of the profit to Ryan these are USA made in Indiana..

No sir, I don't like it!

Even my Alliance tags are pinned on my shed wall because they're too big. I like my little br*** etched Alliance tag on my firewall just fine.

Not happening- it's NOT a club- especially just because you spent $50-. What would be next- 3 foot window banner stickers- or WORSE- CLUB JACKETS???? Yikes! This is an amazing place to hang and to share knowledge- but so is Barnes & Noble (they even have drinks and snacks!)- But I don't see anyone asking them for a Club Plaque! LOL! :D

So you'll take someone elses intellectual property, use it as you see fit and then be generous enough to donate a small portion of the profit back to the rightful owner of that property?

    Nice

Fifty bucks a year for the alliance membership is tuff for some folks on here already,

I'm sorry but I don't buy it every year, all though I'm due to re-up this time around .

a CC plate would be nice to have but maybe out of reach for some.

    AND YOU know WHAT

you are going to hear as soon as the first one gets stoled,

****ing popcorn ain't going to fix it....

Exactly- how about some Disney, Nike or McDonald's plaques? I'm sure they would jump on your offer!

    X2 ! This not a club !
If you want to show how much you support Ryan and the H.A.M.B. then become an Alliance Member and Ryan will personally put your "Name" on the tag for you to attach to any part of your car you desire ! Plus you get HUGE discounts all year long for a ton of vendors that have great products to offer you for your car and a discounted price that ONLY an Alliance Member can get !
What else do you honestly need ?

I hate to say it but I slacked off. See, I actually made a paper design, and then a wood replica that is to size plus casting shrinkage. So all I have to do is make enough money to send it to someone to get forged a handful of times and then I was gonna do a hamb auction.... but I had to ask Ryan first and I do need money before I can do it. See the dilemma. I could post up some pictures of the loose copy in wood. I had 2 made and one looks perfect and the other... well lets just say that it wouldn't be giving too much away. Lets see if there is any interest in me post pictures of it up.

PLUS I SHOULD SAY THAT IN NO WAY DOES IT SAY CAR CLUB, C.C., OR ANYTHING ELSE. IT SIMPLY SAYS...

Major two reasons I have a problem with casting the plates, well that and then the whole Ryan has to say yes. If one got stolen, the person whose got stolen would ask for another one and that won't happen because I am not a ****ing copying machine and second, people on the hamb don't always have the ability to buy the memberships and then they (at least I do) feel bad that they can't help out by at least helping with a hamb auction. I mean, I really feel like a dope. So even if Ryan said yes, I would have to wonder if it would really be worth it.

Okay, so maybe I will make one some time in the future but I have never seen those toppers, those look DAMN good. They are super clean and have nice lines. Plus the only reason I was going to make them at all was to hamb auction them all off and only keep the money that it cost me to make them, no compensation for my time so that the hamb could make the most profit as I love this site.

oh god no! it would be like your favorite underground band going mainstream and getting played on the radio, and MTV all the time, then seeing their t-shirts being sold at WalMart..... I like how Ryan keeps the HAMB low key.... feels like were in a SECRET club.. and thats how i like it....

Maybe I missed something, but the HAMB auctions I've seen are items donated for auction with ALL proceeds going to the HAMB. There are folks who've also sold stuff with the monies going directly to the HAMB, not as an auction, but just as a sale. If you're gonna sell something, you sell it. If you're gonna auction something, you auction it. I wouldn't participate in an auction that did not have all the money going to the HAMB, but that's just me.
