trying to find a good frame swap candidate for a 52 victoria, will a S-10 frame work?i'm not so concerned with wheelbase, mostly just track width...also, what years are most popular for this? mid 80's? any other makes/models that may work? want to stay away from ford truck frames(i-beam suspension)

  2. Id say -No.too narrow
Those old fords had a good steering etc- could improve it with gas shocks and good tires,Dont do it.

Most '98 and new fords will have the control arms rather than beams.

  4. I'm with Choprods.....I think it is way too narrow for your car.

If you are all bent on doing a frame swap and the s-10 is to narrow look into a 79 and up Malibu, Monte Carlo, El Camino, Regal, Cutlas etc... They use the same components at the s-10 just a little wider.
