Carl, yeah, this one will stay at 106". Not concerned, don't think I'll have enough HP to make it squirrly. If I decide to build a bigger hp motor I'll build a new longer ch***is, that's the easy part for me.
Budget is tight with the new business start up so unless I sell my 40 or win the lotto Eagle will be tough to make but we'll try, sure would love to be there!
Watching this little car run yesterday in Phoenix got me fired up. DSC_0156.JPG

No, well sorta. Life and getting the new shop off the ground has gotten in the way. Looks like I'll be able to jump back on it after the first of the year. I've decided to build a new frame, longer wheelbase and moly. I figure I need get more serious and build it more of a real race car then the original plan (again, thanks to you and others on here, I can't go half as fast, be no fun!). Got some guy named Abbin that lives here, he's willing to help make the motor run hard, I'll need a lighter, better handling car to take advantage of it. The old setup isn't going to waste, I picked up a little DeSoto hemi and I'll put it together with it, play with it a bit then find a home for it. Look for updates next year.
