Well, I know of at least 3 people who were driving in circles trying to find it ('cause we all saw each other). Turns out we were jumping the gun. I now realize you said "at 4:00" I was trying to catch it on the way back from the Newcastle car show and came by too early. Sorry I missed meeting up with you, but I did get to talk with ChopTop for a while as we tried to figure where we went wrong. I guess that would be in the "failure to follow directions" category.

thanks for the reply, fellas. sorry we missed you guys! turns out the park was jam packed with mexicans for some kinda big holiday, so we moved the whole thing around the corner to someones house. we hung out at the park till like 4.45, and i kept running back by to check. the whole day just kinda got*****ed off, but we bbqed on the sidewalk, and the rusty nuts from stockton came down. all in all it was really fun, but i realized that i didn't give my # out, so you guys couldn't call or anything. sorry. actually we're trying to plan a full on car show thing for late july, bands, food. the works. when the plans start to come together a little better, ill give everyone the heads up. a real car show in sac?!?!?....nooooooo. saw jay gatlin driving the other way, bryce ahs his digits, but forgot his phone. so we missed him. your homie jay is not in our car club. glen was doin' his own thing, i guess. didn't really have time to get the word out, you know. i havn't seen brent in a minute. i was hoping phil would be there too, but i lost his phone # awhile ago, havn't seen him since. set up a party, give me a when and where. i'd come out!! we should have a swap, or just get some*****s together and make a movie who are the draglinks?? jeff

our club is called the knuckle busters. but all we DO is work on cars. we don't have shirts or plaques or anything, though maybe someday,but that***** is overrated. its just a group of guys that get out and drive our cars and turn wrenches into the wee small hours of the morning. the "club" is pretty free form. but it is nice to always have someone to call at 2.00 am, when you burn up your wiring harness 25 miles from home, or get a flat, or run out of gas, or......... i like the idea of "clubs" but do not like the politics involved sometimes. its really cool to have a tight group of friends that share the same interests. and my guys have the right state of mind. fuck the fashion, its "about the iron".(tm)
