My condolences for your loss. I've lost a loved one recently, too. In fact, I had to deliver her eulogy. In doing so, I learned that it is important us to honor their legacy by living fulfilled and happy lives. I wish the same for you and your family.
Sorry for your loss brother. Be glad you had him for as long as you did. Not everyone is that lucky. God bless.
I lost my dad 41 years ago. I think about him every day. I miss him every day. It doesn't get easier, you get better at living with it. Eventually the joy of having had him in your life will overcome the pain of loosing him. Your job is to be the kind of person he would have you be.
My condolences. At my dad's funeral about 15 years ago someone told me it's not the kind of thing you get over, it's the kind of thing you learn to deal with. As the years have p***ed I've found out that was the smartest thing anyone said to me that day. Maybe eight years after he died I was in my shop, daydreaming while cleaning surface rust off an old metalworking tool. The wire brush suddenly revealed his signature engraved on the tool. That really took me by surprise, I had to go sit down for a while...
I like to thank you all for the kind words They helped me a lot Tomorrow is the funeral I think that's the hardest day Then I have to pickup my live again Again thanks Now I know I have more then one friend Jan de graaf Jr
